Unlike most clubs, New York Tennis Club does NOT charge additional court fees. Thus, members have the flexibility to play at will---and as often as they choose.
Some members arrange games in advance while others arrive at their convenience and find other members ready for play.
LONG SEASON
Opening Day, while dependent on weather, usually occurs the first weekend in May and play continues until
early October followed by our indoor season.
SOCIAL FUNCTIONS
Holiday weekends are accompanied by catered or BBQ dinners---a favorite among members.
To wind down the season, and to celebrate the upcoming holidays, New York Tennis Club holds an annual dinner dance off site.
STABLE MEMBERSHIP
Many members have been members in excess of 10 years, some as long as 50 years, making for a stable roster of players at all playing levels.
